We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Lincolnshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to determine their needs and develop appropriate support plans.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertake initial assessments and make decisions on the most appropriate course of action Work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children Prepare high-quality reports and recommendations for case conferences and court proceedings Monitor and review support plans to ensure they are meeting the needs of children and families Provide support and guidance to less experienced team members and contribute to team meetings and training sessionsEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and HCPC registration Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and working with children and families in a social care setting Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection and safeguarding Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with service users Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage a complex caseload, and prioritize tasks efficientlyAdditional requirements and benefits:
