We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Kinship/Assessment Team in Devon. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing support to children and families within the community.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Conducting thorough assessments to determine the needs and risks of children in kinship care Developing and implementing care plans to support the well-being and safety of children Working collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children Participating in case conferences, court hearings, and other relevant meetings Providing advocacy and support for children and families to access appropriate services and resourcesEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration Experience working with children and families in a social work setting Strong assessment and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environmentAdditional requirements or benefits:
