We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Looked After Children (LAC) Team in Bolton. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertaking assessments and developing care plans for looked after children. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for children in care. Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, including safeguarding and risk management. Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the needs of children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in line with regulatory standards.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong understanding of child protection procedures and legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a demanding caseload.Additional requirements and benefits:
