We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our Children & Families Team in Gloucestershire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need of support and protection.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Undertaking assessments of children and families to identify their needs and risks Developing and implementing care plans to safeguard and promote the welfare of children Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to provide coordinated support Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and other relevant meetings Providing direct support and intervention to children and families in crisis situationsThe ideal candidate for this position will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification Registered with Social Work England Demonstrated experience working with children and families in a social work setting Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsIn addition to the essential qualifications and skills, candidates with experience in child protection, court work, and working with children in care will be highly desirable. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work purposes are also required for this role.
