As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring that all assessments and interventions are conducted in line with statutory requirements and best practice. Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing and supporting a team of social workers to achieve positive outcomes for children and families. Developing and implementing effective strategies for service delivery and improvement. Providing regular supervision and performance management to team members. Ensuring compliance with local policies, procedures, and legislation. Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to enhance service provision.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in children and families social work, with a strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding practices. Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
