Role: Uniformed Protective Services Lecturer
Location: Cumbria
Type: Permanent - Part time (18.5 hours per week)
Salary: £27,000 - £41,000

Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Uniformed Protective Services for a Further Education College in Cumbria to teach and support students from Level 1 to Level 3.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, conducting assessments, and maintaining accurate records of student progress and achievement.

This is a 0.5 permanent role for 18.5 hours a week

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality teaching across Levels 1 to 3 Uniformed Protective Services.
- Design schemes of work and lesson plans that motivate and challenge learners.
- Carry out assessments in line with awarding body requirements.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
- Support students' academic and personal development.
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance activities.

About You
- A relevant qualification in Uniformed Protective Services or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Experience teaching or working within Uniformed Protective Services (e.g., military, police, fire and rescue, prison services, etc.) is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and student success.
