We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our team in Wiltshire, specializing in Children and Young Persons Disability. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of children and young people with disabilities and their families. As a QSW, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and young people with disabilities and their families to identify needs and develop tailored support plans. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals and educational staff, to coordinate services and support for clients. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges and access resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice guidelines. Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and young people with disabilities, preferably in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with teams.
