We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Wiltshire - QSW - Family Safeguarding professional to join our team in the Qualified Social Work field. As a Family Safeguarding practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing support and intervention to families in need, with a focus on safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for families to address safeguarding concerns Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to coordinate support services Providing direct support and guidance to families to improve parenting skills and family dynamics Participating in case conferences and court hearings as necessary Monitoring and reviewing the progress of families to ensure positive outcomesEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration and experience in family safeguarding Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to child protection Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify risks and develop effective intervention strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with families and build rapport Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseloadAdditional requirements or benefits:
