Are you an experienced social worker passionate about making a difference in the lives of adults? Wokingham Borough Council is seeking a dedicated Senior Social Worker to join our Adults Duty team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting vulnerable adults, ensuring they receive the care and services they need to lead fulfilling lives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults in need of support and determining appropriate interventions. Managing a caseload of complex cases, ensuring timely and effective service delivery. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans. Providing guidance and supervision to junior staff and students. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with local and national standards.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Significant experience in adult social work, particularly in a duty or assessment role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
