We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Early Response Team in Worcestershire. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and protecting vulnerable children and families in the local community.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks faced by children and families Developing and implementing care plans to support the well-being and safety of children Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support Participating in case conferences and court proceedings as required Providing crisis intervention and support to families in challenging situationsEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding work Strong assessment and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex casesAdditional requirements or benefits:
