Key Responsibilities:
* Safeguarding Leadership: Oversee complex safeguarding and legal case challenges, ensuring compliance with the Care Act and related legislation.
* Compliance & Quality Assurance: Manage safeguarding enquiries, adhering to Making Safeguarding Personal principles, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
* Partnership Collaboration: Work closely with partners to enhance service delivery and improve outcomes for adults in the community.
* Team Leadership: Oversee social work teams, manage operational spending, and drive performance improvements.
* Change Management: Support teams through organizational changes, ensuring seamless transitions.
* Strategic Oversight: Provide leadership as part of the senior management team, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
About You:
* Qualifications: Registered Social Worker with a relevant professional qualification.
* Experience: Demonstrated expertise in adult social work, safeguarding, legal frameworks, and team leadership.
* Skills: Strong decision-making, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Availability: This critical leadership role requires immediate availability.
