Job Advert: Band 6 Physiotherapist - UCR Intermediate Care
Location: Scarborough and Ryedale area, North Yorkshire
Role: Physiotherapist (Band 6)
Team: North Yorkshire UCR Intermediate Care
Contract: Up to 5 days per week, 3-month assignment
Pay Rate: Band 6 rate (dependent on experience)
We are seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Urgent Community Response (UCR) Intermediate Care Team in the Scarborough and Ryedale area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic service focused on providing timely, high-quality care to individuals in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and interventions to support patients in the intermediate care setting.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enable recovery and independence, preventing unnecessary hospital admissions.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
Provide advice, education, and support to patients, families, and caregivers to optimize outcomes.
Essential Requirements:
HCPC-registered Physiotherapist with Band 6 experience.
Previous experience in intermediate care or community-based physiotherapy.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work autonomously and manage a diverse caseload effectively.
Working Arrangements:
Flexible schedule of up to 5 days per week.
Initial contract of 3 months, with potential for extension.
