? Position: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Therapy Team
? Location: Sandwell (Hybrid - Minimum 3 days in office)
? Rate: £30 per hour (Umbrella)
? Hours: 37 hours per week (Flexible & Part-time options available)

Mon-Thu: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Fri: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
? Contract: Short-term
? DBS Requirement: Enhanced Barring Check for Adults
About the Role:
Sandwell MBC Therapy Team is seeking Occupational Therapists to join their dynamic and responsive service on a short-term basis. The team works closely with community social work and reablement services to support service users in regaining independence.

This role requires self-motivated, organised professionals with strong written and verbal communication skills. Assessments will be conducted both in service users' homes and virtually using Microsoft Teams.

Key Responsibilities:
?? Conducting Occupational Therapy assessments for vulnerable adults across the borough
?? Assessing the need for equipment, minor, and major adaptations
?? Collaborating closely with social workers, external agencies, and professionals
?? Providing a flexible, person-centred service within budgetary constraints
?? Demonstrating and training service users in the use of equipment, adaptations, and assistive technology
?? Accessing clinical supervision and professional support

Requirements:
? BSc or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
? HCPC Registration
? Enhanced DBS with Adults Barring Check
? Ability to travel across the borough (own vehicle required)
? Strong communication, organisational, and assessment skills
