Description:
We are seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Early Response Team in Worcestershire. In this vital role, you will be responsible for completing information gathering, determining risk, and ensuring relevant actions are undertaken in accordance with Section 42(1) of the Care Act.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete information gathering and determine the risk for individuals involved in safeguarding concerns.
Ensure that relevant actions are undertaken under Section 42(1) of the Care Act.
Conduct assessments and support service users at risk of harm.
Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to safeguarding.
Keep accurate and timely records of all interactions and assessments.
Provide high-quality reports and case management.
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid Social Work England registration.
Experience in Safeguarding and a sound understanding of the Care Act 2014 and Section 42(1).
Proven ability to assess risk and take appropriate action to safeguard vulnerable individuals.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to work under pressure and manage a caseload efficiently.
