Role: Lecturer in Chemistry
Location: Halton - Cheshire
Rate: £30 - £40 per hour
Type: Temporary (4 days per week)
Eden Brown Education are looking for an enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to work on behalf of a leading Sixth form college in the Halton area.
This role is to start on 8th May covering sickness and for a minimum of 6-8 weeks, possibly longer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality chemistry lessons to A-Level students, preparing them for exams, and helping them achieve their academic goals.
Responsibilities:
* Delivering engaging and interactive A-Level Chemistry lessons to students.
* Preparing lesson plans, resources, and assessments in line with the curriculum.
* Providing one-on-one support and guidance to students as needed.
* Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Requirements:
* A degree in Chemistry (or a closely related subject).
* Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for chemistry.
* Previous experience teaching A-Level Chemistry
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students.
