Location: County Hall North Horsham, County Hall Chichester, Bridge House Worthing
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (1 day per week in the office, where feasible)
Pay Rate: Up to £38 per hour (depending on experience and competency)
Contract Type: Locum
About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join the LLS Review Team in West Sussex. This locum role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid arrangement, with flexibility for 1 day per week in the office (where feasible). You will be part of a strong and dynamic team, working with a diverse caseload of adults (18+) who have a range of needs including physical disabilities, learning disabilities, neurodiverse conditions, acquired brain injuries, chronic health conditions, and older people.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting strengths-based reviews for adults with various support needs.
Completing Mental Capacity Act assessments, Continuing Health Care checklists, and decision support tools.
Developing and revising care plans based on individual needs, ensuring positive outcomes and wellbeing for service users.
Applying relevant legislation and utilising your social work knowledge and skills to enhance the delivery of support services.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a qualified social worker with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience. Candidates should have a solid understanding of adult social care, including working with individuals with physical and learning disabilities, neurodiverse conditions, and older people.
Benefits:
Competitive pay rate of up to £38 per hour (depending on experience).

Expenses (£150 per week) for candidates living outside of West Sussex.

Additional Information:
Candidates from outside West Sussex are eligible for the £35 per hour rate plus £150 per week in expenses.
This role is subject to the MoC, which means pay rates are capped based on skills and competency assessments during the interview process.
