Eden Brown synergy are currently recruiting for Walsall Council who are looking for Social Worker - Mental Health Team Job Title: Social Worker - Mental Health Team Location: Walsall Rate: £29.99 per hour (Umbrella) Contract: Ongoing Hours: Full-time Walsall Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Adult Social Worker to join the Mental Health Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality mental health social work, grounded in a strengths-based approach and committed to supporting recovery and independence. Key Responsibilities: Undertake Care Act 2014 duties, including Section 9 assessments and Section 27 reviews Provide support with Section 117 aftercare planning Work in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 (MCA), Mental Health Act 1983/2007 (MHA), and Equality Act 2010 Apply legislation effectively to ensure person-centred, lawful, and proportionate care Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and partner agencies to deliver holistic support Requirements: Qualified Social Worker (Degree or equivalent) Registered with Social Work England Proven experience in adult mental health social work Strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices If you meet the above criteria and are ready for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
