Qualified Social Worker - Learning Disabilities Team

Rate: £28.40 per hour (in line with MOU)
Full-time - 37 hours per week

Walsall Council is seeking a dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Adults Learning Disabilities Team on a locum basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver strengths-based assessments and care planning in line with the Care Act 2014.

  • Improve outcomes for adults with care and support needs, as well as carers.

  • Carry out safeguarding duties to protect vulnerable adults from abuse or neglect.

  • Maintain accountable and ethical social work practice in line with professional standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration

  • Experience in adult social care and knowledge of relevant legislation

  • Strong communication and assessment skills
