About the Role:
Bromley Council is seeking three experienced Adult Social Workers to join its Adult Learning Disability Team. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive and professional environment where youll make a real difference to the lives of adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.

You will be responsible for care management duties in line with the Care Act 2014, offering strength-based and person-centred support to adults over 18 and their unpaid carers.

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out Care Act assessments and annual statutory reviews

Complete Mental Capacity Act (MCA) assessments

Undertake CHC assessments and contribute to Court of Protection (COP) work

Manage safeguarding concerns under Section 42

Provide longer-term casework and support planning

Participate in the duty rota on occasion

Work collaboratively with health and community partners

Develop strengths-based, person-centred care and support plans in partnership with service users and carers.

Promote community inclusion by signposting to and engaging community resources, ensuring efficient use of care budgets and best outcomes for residents.

* Service Management qualification, ideally ITIL
* SCCN experience is desirable but not essential
* Relevant experience in a similar environment/industry, preferably within an educational establishment.
