Job description

My Client is currently looking for an Homeowner ship officer to join their team on for approx 3 months with possibility to extend. This is on a temporary basis at the rate of £18.80 Paye or £23.92 Umbrella.

Please see below the requirements

Manage a patch of homeowners accounts and to provide high quality service to your customers, ensuring that the accounts are managed in accordance with the terms of their leases, transfer documents, legislation and best practice.

Dealing with all matters relating to the lease with a real focus on issuing statutory consultation notices to leaseholders, build relationships and resolving disputes, responding to all correspondence and working with customers to continuously improve the service.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience


- Experience of having worked in a fast paced, customer focused environment.
- Excellent knowledge and application of IT systems and software packages.
- Relevant legislative and or procedural knowledge for specialist area.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision, using problem solving skills and initiative to provide a customer focused support service.
- Ability to work flexibly, balancing competing priorities and meeting deadlines whilst understanding the needs, timescales and deadlines of others
-Ability to deal diplomatically and confidentially with a wider range of stakeholders internally and externally
- Ability to identify improvements to processes and systems and to share the recommendations with the wider team.
- Experience of actually carrying out and/or checking mathematical calculations
- Experience of the housing management rent and service charges
- Experience of adhering to process and procedure
- Experience of using mainframe computer systems and databases (primarily North gate Housing Management systems
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise workload
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to deal calmly with angry/distressed tenants
