An exciting opportunity has arisen for a children's experienced Senior social worker to join the Family Support Team in Lincolnshire County Council.
This is a unique team that integrates Child Protection, Assessment, and support to provide the best possible outcomes for children, young people, and their families. You will benefit from a very competitive hourly rate and can work in a dedicated team along with utilising Lincolnshire's hybrid working approach.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
* Office base Grantham. Supportive and inclusive team of Social Workers
* Holding a caseload of children subject to Child Protection Plans and Children in Need under Section 17
* Undertaking Initial Assessments under Section 17
* Undertaking Core Assessments under Section 47
* Undertaking Child Protection Enquiries under Section 47
* Undertaking Pre-Birth Assessments under Section 47
* Producing Initial Child Protection Conference reports
* Convening and chairing Core Group Meetings
* Initiating and implementing Child Protection Plans
* Working with Looked after children

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 2 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle
