Position: Occupational Therapist - Adult Social Care

Service: Short Term Support Service (STSS)
Hourly Rate: £33.71 per hour
About the Role:
The Short Term Support Service (STSS) is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in East Lancashire. In this pivotal role, you will work creatively and compassionately to support individuals in achieving their personal goals and living as independently as possible within their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality OT services aligned with Lancashire's Living Better Lives strength-based vision for social care.
Promoting independence through the provision of equipment, home adaptations, specialist seating, and tailored support.
Conducting assessments and devising innovative solutions to meet individuals needs.
Providing expert guidance on moving and handling techniques.
Collaborating with other professionals to deliver person-centered care.
What We're Looking For:
A passionate, empathetic OT with a commitment to making a real difference.
The ability to think creatively and deliver proportionate, impactful care solutions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in adult social care or similar roles is desirable.
