About the Role
As an Agency Social Worker in the LAC Team, you will:
* Work in partnership with children, families, and multi-agency networks to address social, emotional, and environmental needs.
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of the most vulnerable children and young people through high-quality services.
* Assess risks and needs to create tailored, outcome-focused plans.
* Coordinate services to improve the lives of children, young people, and their families.
* Ensure the well-being and safety of children and young people through thorough assessments and care planning.

Key Responsibilities
* Apply relevant legislation, policy, and procedures to deliver outstanding social work practices.
* Represent the authority in court proceedings and provide evidence when required.
* Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, making informed decisions to ensure positive outcomes.
* Develop, implement, and review comprehensive care plans in collaboration with multi-agency teams.
* Support children and young people through placement considerations and transitions.
* Undertake day duty tasks, including phone calls, visits, and attending meetings as needed.

Requirements
* A valid Social Work England registration.
* Proven experience in working with Looked After Children or similar teams.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act.
* Excellent communication, assessment, and care planning skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-agency setting.
