Assistant HR Business Partner
Eden Brown Synergy is delighted to collaborate with a local authority, based in Wiltshire who are seeking an Assistant HR Business Partner to provide expert HR support, guidance, and insights that will help shape the organisation's people strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to develop strong partnerships with managers, support key HR initiatives, and make a real impact.
The role is initially for 3 months, and hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide advice and guidance on HR policies, employment law, and employee relations.
* Support managers in handling disciplinary, grievance, and performance-related matters.
* Assist with job evaluations and ensure fair, consistent assessments.
* Work closely with trade unions and key stakeholders to resolve employee issues.
* Analyse HR data, provide insights, and support decision-making.
* Contribute to policy development, HR projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Coach and empower line managers in effectively managing their teams.
Essential Skills:
* CIPD qualification (or working towards it) with experience in a complex organisation.
* Strong understanding of employee relations, employment law, and HR best practices.
* Experience in case management, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management.
* Ability to interpret HR policies and provide clear, balanced advice to stakeholders.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate HR data and provide insights.
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
