We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Team (MAST) in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to improving the lives of vulnerable adults and ensuring their safety and well-being. In this role, you will work collaboratively with various agencies to assess and address safeguarding concerns, providing support to individuals and families in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults at risk, identifying their needs and safeguarding concerns. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users and other professionals. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to case discussions to ensure effective safeguarding interventions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, adhering to local policies and procedures. Providing advice and support to other professionals and agencies regarding safeguarding issues.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in adult safeguarding and working within a multi-agency framework. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues.
