We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Team (MAST) in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to improving the lives of vulnerable adults and ensuring their safety and well-being. In this role, you will work collaboratively with various agencies to assess and address safeguarding concerns, providing support to individuals and families in need.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults at risk, identifying their needs and safeguarding concerns.
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users and other professionals.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to case discussions to ensure effective safeguarding interventions.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, adhering to local policies and procedures.
  • Providing advice and support to other professionals and agencies regarding safeguarding issues.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in adult safeguarding and working within a multi-agency framework.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
