West Sussex County Council is currently seeking experienced Children's Social Workers to join their Assessment & Intervention Team based in Chichester.

Role DetailsPosition: Social Worker - Assessment & Intervention Team
Location: Chichester, West Sussex
Working Pattern: Full Time
Working Arrangement: Hybrid/Office-Based (Preference for office attendance with flexibility to work from home)
Pay Rate: £38.52 per hour (up to £42.00 per hour for candidates assessed at Advanced Social Worker level)
As a Children's Social Worker, you will be responsible for:
Undertaking high-quality assessments and care planningCompleting child protection investigations and risk assessmentsWorking directly with children and families to improve outcomesPreventing family breakdown wherever possibleEnsuring children are safeguarded in line with legislation, policies, and proceduresBuilding strong relationships with partner agencies and professionalsEssential RequirementsQualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registrationMinimum 3 years' post-qualified experience in direct permanent employment within Local Authority Children's Services in EnglandRecent frontline Children's Social Care and Child Protection experienceStrong assessment and risk analysis skillsExperience undertaking direct work with children and young peopleExcellent multi-agency working experienceFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicleWillingness to travel across the western area of West SussexCall Adarsh Parihar at 020 8152 8922.
