We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Bedford - TM - CWD Team. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with children and families to promote their well-being and safeguard their welfare. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and delivering high-quality support services. Your expertise will guide families through challenging situations, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and interventions to thrive.
Key responsibilities in this position include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and multi-agency partners. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to essential services. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse families.
