We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Social Worker - Duty & Assessment Team to join a well-established Children's Services team in Bradford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled social care professional to join a supportive local authority and make a positive impact on the lives of children and families.
About the RoleAs a Senior Social Worker within the Duty & Assessment Team, you will be responsible for managing complex cases, completing high-quality assessments, and ensuring children and families receive effective support in line with statutory requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of children and families, ensuring effective assessment and intervention.Complete timely and comprehensive assessments to identify children's needs.Undertake safeguarding enquiries and support child protection processes.Develop and implement effective care plans to achieve positive outcomes.Work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and professionals.Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies.Support good practice standards within the team.RequirementsSocial Work England registration.Significant post-qualifying experience within Children's Services.Experience working within a Duty & Assessment team is desirable.Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection procedures, and statutory frameworks.Excellent assessment, communication, and analytical skills.Ability to manage complex cases effectively.BenefitsOngoing agency contract.Opportunity to work with a well-established local authority.Supportive team environment.Competitive hourly rate.Opportunity for contract extension.If you are an experienced Senior Social Worker looking for your next opportunity within Children's Services, we would love to hear from you.
