Derbyshire County Council is seeking an experienced and proactive MASH Social Worker to join their dynamic Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team.
About the Role:
As a MASH Social Worker, you will be the first point of contact for safeguarding concerns. You will work closely with partner agencies to gather information, assess risk, and make informed decisions to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Screen and assess referrals received through the MASH
Liaise with police, health, education, and other partner agencies
Identify risk and determine appropriate next steps (e.g., strategy discussion, assessment, NFA)
Record clear, evidence-based decisions within tight timescales
Ensure all actions comply with safeguarding legislation and guidance

We are committed to ensuring we have a flexible workforce who can manage their work and home life and to do this, we would consider some home working where the role allows, together with flexible working where it meets the needs of the team as well as the children and families. The candidate will be provided with a laptop and smart phone to assist with this and the expectation is that the worker will be in the office 3 days per week.
You will be SWE registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK

Overview:
Bath and North East Somerset Council is seeking an experienced and proactive Deputy Team Manager to lead and manage the Annual Reviewing Team. This team is responsible for completing Care Act Reviews for adults receiving commissioned care packages from the local authority.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day supervision for 4 Social Care Practitioners and 1 Administrator
Review and authorise Care Act Assessments and Reviews
Support staff with Mental Capacity Assessments and care planning
Offer advice and guidance, including signposting to appropriate services
Participate in the Learning Disability Service duty rota (average 1 day per week)
Respond to new referrals
Handle care package queries
Conduct Safeguarding triage
Lead project-based work focused on targeted reviews for specific service user groups

Working Model:
This is a hybrid position, with an expectation of an average of 2 days per week on-site at Keynsham Civic Centre or within the Bath and North East Somerset area.
