About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Screen and assess referrals received through the MASH

Liaise with police, health, education, and other partner agencies

Identify risk and determine appropriate next steps (e.g., strategy discussion, assessment, NFA)

Record clear, evidence-based decisions within tight timescales

Ensure all actions comply with safeguarding legislation and guidance

Social Worker required to join a busy Children's Locality Team across the picturesque county of Gloucestershire in Stroud. Long term contacts are offered with good rates of pay up to £43ph in well supported teams. Flexible hybrid working. The candidate will be provided with a laptop and smart phone to assist with this and the expectation is that the worker will be in the office 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day supervision for 4 Social Care Practitioners and 1 Administrator

Review and authorise Care Act Assessments and Reviews

Support staff with Mental Capacity Assessments and care planning

Offer advice and guidance, including signposting to appropriate services

Working Model:

We are recruiting Registered Nurses (RGNs) for a community-based complex care package in the Canterbury area. The role involves 2:1 care for a male client with a spinal cord injury, being discharged from hospital. Nurses must have experience in:

- Tracheostomy care
- Ventilator management
- Spinal injury care
- Autonomic dysreflexia
- Neurogenic bladder & bowel care

Shifts: 12-hour Days (08:00-20:00) & Nights (20:00-08:00)

Start: Shadowing from late June, live rota from 27th June
