Nottinghamshire County Council is currently looking for 2 experienced Parent and Family Workers to join the Neurodevelopmental Support Team.

About the Role:
This role involves undertaking assessment work for children and young people who are on the neurodevelopmental assessment pathway, focusing on Autism and ADHD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out assessments and observations in various settings, including family homes and education settings.

  • Supporting children and families through the neurodevelopmental pathway.

  • Working collaboratively with professionals across health, education, and social care.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of neurodiversity and child development.

  • Experience in assessment work with children and young people.

  • Ability to engage with families and work across multiple settings.
