Role Summary:
We are urgently seeking a Band 7 Sonographer with extensive experience in Early Pregnancy scanning (predominantly transvaginal) to join the Early Pregnancy Unit at Croydon Healthcare Services.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality ultrasound services in a busy and supportive team, contributing to the management and clinical care of women in early pregnancy.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform transvaginal and abdominal scans for early pregnancy assessments
Work closely with EPU consultants and CNSs in line with NICE guidelines
Support patient management with accurate diagnosis and timely reporting
Provide teaching and mentoring support to a trainee Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) undertaking a scanning course
Ensure all documentation and reporting is completed in accordance with NHS policies and clinical governance standards
Requirements:
HCPC-registered Sonographer (or equivalent professional body registration)
Proven experience in Early Pregnancy Unit settings, specifically transvaginal scanning
Strong knowledge of current NICE guidance on Early Pregnancy care
Confident working autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
Experience in training/mentoring junior staff is highly desirable
Fully compliant and able to work within IR35 under Direct Engagement
Must be able to commit to Monday-Friday cover for up to 12 months

Overview of the Team and Role:
The Case Management team undertake longer-term (6 weeks or more), complex social work interventions, working with older adults and physically disabled people including those with concurrent mental health and substance misuse needs.
The team's work includes complex mental capacity work, including Court of Protection applications where indicated and undertaking Safeguarding enquiries as well as assessments and unscheduled reviews under the Care Act 2014, and multi-disciplinary input to Continuing Health Care processes.
Careful attention is paid to caseload management, to ensure social workers are not overloaded, and are able to give the necessary time and attention to the situations they are supporting individuals through.
Applicants need to have experience of working with adults with complex needs preferably in the community, and a minimum of 3 - 4 years post-qualifying statutory experience.

Lewisham Council is looking to recruit an experienced and energetic adult mental health social worker for our Neighbourhood 4 Community Mental Health Team (CMHT).
The CMHT offers support and a range of interventions for adults of working age who have serious long-term mental health conditions. The social worker will act as a care coordinator alongside colleagues from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation and the voluntary sector and will be based within an NHS team. They will hold a caseload of people on CPA, as well as covering the team duty rota and leading on adult safeguarding and Care Act assessments within the multi-disciplinary team.

The successful candidate will have:
Commitment to culturally-informed and anti-oppressive practice
Substantial experience of adult mental health casework in a community mental health setting

Knowledge and experience of the assessment and management of risk in relation to mental health service-users
