Bury Council is currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join its Children Looked After (CLA) Team on a locum basis.

Manage a caseload of children and young people who are looked after by the local authority.Undertake statutory visits, assessments, care planning, and reviews.Develop and implement care plans that promote stability, permanence, and positive outcomes.Work closely with children, families, carers, schools, health professionals, and partner agencies.Prepare high-quality reports and maintain accurate case records.Attend and contribute to meetings, reviews, and court proceedings where required.Requirements:

Key responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
