Qualified Social Workers required for work within the CWD Team - Countywide in Devon. This is an exciting opportunity with excellent rates of pay in a Children With Additional Needs Team. Pay rate up to £38.00ph. 3 month contract but likely reviewed. Flexible hybrid working arrangements. An accommodation/commuter allowance of £150 per week is offered for candidates who fall within the agreed eligibility guidelines. Please note that this allowance will be reviewed at the end of June 2026.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated social worker to deliver an effective social work service to children with disabilities and their families, informed by current research, legislation and departmental policy.

The teams undertake all of the work that traditionally involves a mainstream team. This involves assessing the need and identifying services that will enhance the life of the disabled child and their family. A large proportion of the work within CWD services is to identify need and provide services that minimise the effects of the disability so that the child can reach his/her full potential. By working in partnership with the child's family, we help enable the parents/carers to continue to meet the needs of their child while alleviating some of the stress that this will involve. Social workers attend various panels in order to advocate for our young people who require a Residential placement or who require a direct payment to help support their care.

You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK

As an Eden Brown Synergy candidate, you can take advantage of our competitive service offering: * Dedicated personal and professional service. * Free DBS check. * CV review service. * Interview advice. * Competitive rates of pay. * Post-placement follow up meetings.
