Join our dedicated team in Staffordshire as a Qualified Social Worker in the Children with Disabilities Team. We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual who is committed to improving the lives of children with disabilities and their families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure that children receive the support and services they need to thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families.
- Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and multi-agency teams.
- Providing direct support and guidance to children and their families, ensuring their voices are heard.
- Monitoring and reviewing care plans to ensure effective service delivery and positive outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A recognized social work qualification (degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or in a similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
