Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Rochdale, where you will play a vital role in supporting children with disabilities and their families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing ongoing support to ensure the well-being of children and young people in our community. You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to create a nurturing environment that promotes the best outcomes for each child.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children with disabilities and their families. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and other stakeholders. Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their needs are met effectively. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with local and national standards. Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and contributing to the development of best practices within the team.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children with disabilities and knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
