We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Fostering Team in Gloucestershire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families involved in the fostering process.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Assessing the needs of children and families to develop appropriate care plans. Conducting home visits and regular reviews to ensure the well-being of children in foster care. Providing support and guidance to foster carers to enhance their skills and knowledge. Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to coordinate services for children in care. Participating in case conferences, court hearings, and multidisciplinary meetings as required.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration. Experience working within a children's social care setting, preferably in fostering. Strong assessment and report writing skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Additional requirements and benefits:
