We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Worker to join our Kinship Team in Northamptonshire. As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to children and families within the kinship care system.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Assessing the needs of children and families in kinship care arrangements Developing and implementing care plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children Providing support and guidance to kinship carers to enhance their capacity to meet the needs of the children in their care Advocating for the best interests of the child and ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate services and support for children and familiesEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification Registered with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting Strong assessment, intervention, and case management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAdditional requirements or benefits:
