We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Worker to join our Kinship Team in Northamptonshire. As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to children and families within the kinship care system.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Assessing the needs of children and families in kinship care arrangements
  • Developing and implementing care plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children
  • Providing support and guidance to kinship carers to enhance their capacity to meet the needs of the children in their care
  • Advocating for the best interests of the child and ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate services and support for children and families

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and case management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
