We are seeking a qualified social worker who is passionate about working with children in care, providing them with the support and guidance they need to thrive. In this rewarding role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for each child.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and other stakeholders. Providing ongoing support and advocacy for children in care, ensuring their voices are heard. Conducting regular reviews and monitoring progress to adapt care plans as necessary. Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with statutory requirements and local policies.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Experience working with children in care or within a child protection context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage a caseload effectively.

Join our dedicated team in North Somerset as a Children's Social Worker within the Looked After Children (LAC) Team. We are seeking a passionate and qualified social worker who is committed to improving the lives of children and young people in care. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring that the needs of children are met in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their families to identify needs and risks. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Working closely with foster carers and residential staff to provide guidance and support. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly with looked after children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
