Join our dedicated team in North Somerset as a Children's Social Worker within the Looked After Children (LAC) Team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their families to identify needs and risks.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in children's social work, particularly with looked after children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
