Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and young people? Wrexham's Children’s Social Work - Looked After Children (LAC) Team is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with children in care, their families, and a range of professionals to ensure the best outcomes for vulnerable children in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and young people in care and developing tailored care plans. Conducting regular reviews and monitoring the progress of children and young people, ensuring their voices are heard. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to provide holistic support and interventions. Providing guidance and support to foster carers and adoptive families to enhance the stability of placements. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with regulatory standards.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Care Wales. Significant experience working with children and families, particularly those in care. Strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills.
