We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Portsmouth. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families in the local community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting assessments and investigations into child protection concerns Developing and implementing care plans to support children and families Working collaboratively with partner agencies to provide holistic support Attending case conferences and court hearings as required Providing advocacy and support to children and families throughout the safeguarding process

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England Experience working within a children's safeguarding team Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload
