We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced CIC/LAC - QSW to join our team in Bradford. As a Qualified Social Worker specializing in Children in Care (CIC) and Looked After Children (LAC), you will play a crucial role in supporting and advocating for vulnerable children and young people in the local community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Assessing the needs and risks of children in care and looked after children Developing and implementing care plans to ensure the well-being and safety of the children Working collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to provide holistic support Participating in case conferences, court hearings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of the children Providing emotional support, guidance, and practical assistance to children and young people in challenging situations

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification and current registration with the HCPC Demonstrated experience working with children in care and looked after children in a social work setting Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex caseloads Commitment to promoting the rights and welfare of children and young people
