Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children in care? We are seeking a qualified social worker for the Coventry - AP - Children in Care 0-12s position. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children aged 0-12 who are in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and relevant stakeholders. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Providing emotional support and guidance to children and their families. Working closely with multi-agency teams to ensure a coordinated approach to care. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience working with children in care or similar settings. Strong understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
