We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Denbighshire. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in assessing the needs of vulnerable children and families, and developing and implementing appropriate care plans to ensure their safety and well-being.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify risks and protective factors. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of service users. Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, including safeguarding vulnerable individuals. Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of the children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in accordance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification and current registration with Social Care Wales. Demonstrated experience in child protection, assessment, and care planning within a social work setting. Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills to engage effectively with service users and stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment.
