We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Denbighshire. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in assessing the needs of vulnerable children and families, and developing and implementing appropriate care plans to ensure their safety and well-being.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify risks and protective factors.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of service users.
  • Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, including safeguarding vulnerable individuals.
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of the children.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in accordance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification and current registration with Social Care Wales.
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection, assessment, and care planning within a social work setting.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills to engage effectively with service users and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment.
