Dudley Council is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join their MASH Team.

Location: Council House, Priory Road

Pay Rate: £33.30 per hour (Umbrella)

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, assess, and respond to safeguarding referrals for children and vulnerable adults.Conduct timely and thorough risk assessments to identify safeguarding needs and thresholds.Make informed decisions regarding next steps, including referrals, early help, or statutory intervention.Collaborate with partner agencies (police, health, schools, and other services) to ensure a coordinated response.Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and contribute to data reporting and performance monitoring.Provide advice and guidance to colleagues and external partners on safeguarding matters.Attend strategy meetings, case conferences, and multi-agency meetings as required.Contribute to the continuous improvement of MASH processes and service delivery.Ensure all work is compliant with statutory requirements, safeguarding policies, and best practice standards.

Essential Requirements:

Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalentAt least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's servicesSocial Work England RegistrationDriving license and access to own vehicle
