Dudley - QSW- MASH Team
Dudley Council is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join their MASH Team.
Location: Council House, Priory Road
Pay Rate: £33.30 per hour (Umbrella)
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, assess, and respond to safeguarding referrals for children and vulnerable adults.
- Conduct timely and thorough risk assessments to identify safeguarding needs and thresholds.
- Make informed decisions regarding next steps, including referrals, early help, or statutory intervention.
- Collaborate with partner agencies (police, health, schools, and other services) to ensure a coordinated response.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and contribute to data reporting and performance monitoring.
- Provide advice and guidance to colleagues and external partners on safeguarding matters.
- Attend strategy meetings, case conferences, and multi-agency meetings as required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of MASH processes and service delivery.
- Ensure all work is compliant with statutory requirements, safeguarding policies, and best practice standards.
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
- Social Work England Registration
- Driving license and access to own vehicle
