Join our dedicated team in Durham as a Families First Team Assistant Team Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting families and enhancing their well-being. Your key responsibilities will include:
Supervising and mentoring social work staff to ensure effective service delivery. Coordinating assessments and interventions for families in need of support. Developing and implementing training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge. Monitoring casework and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies. Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to promote integrated service delivery.To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England or equivalent body. Significant experience in social work, particularly within family services. Strong leadership and team management skills.
